TOMS

I must admit that the first time I saw a pair of TOMS shoes I thought they were rather ugly...

They sort of remind me of something an old man at a nursing home would wear.  But it's mostly young people who wear them (including tree-hugging granola types and even a few celebrities).  My brother and sister each have a pair.  They say the shoes are super comfy (the older I get, the more important that becomes...sigh).

The shoes sort of grew on me...

And now I want a pair!  Particularly, this 'snow leopard' pair pictured above.  I think I need them for Fall.

I like these wedges, too.  The best part is that when you purchase a pair, they give a pair to a child in need.  Shoe shopping then becomes charity.  I like that.
