My Thought of the Day

I have much to share from the past week, but here's what is on my mind at the moment:

To those of us who claim to be Christians, we need to stop worrying about the decisions made by men - God is ultimately in control of ALL things. He let the healthcare bill pass. Nothing happens here on Earth that He is not aware of.  Fear should not be a mark of the Christian - the Bible says that God does not give us a spirit of fear (click here to read the verse).  We only need to put our faith and trust in the Lord knowing that He works all things for good those who love Him and are called by His name. Some of us may not like government-run healthcare, but it's not the end of the world.  And, we can be glad that those in need will have healthcare, even if we do not like some of the details in the bill. 

Remember to vote in November if you don't like those in office now - more importantly, remember that WE the people put our current leaders in office.... You get what you vote for.
