After learning about the first Thanksgiving, Ella decided to make some Native American placemats for our Thanksgiving feast on Thursday. Court and I helped her trace a Native American design and some Pilgrims and Indians onto paper. She then colored and drew her own designs to decorate them. When she was done, I laminated them so that the food wouldn't ruin them.
Next, I plan to have her make name plates for everyone. She'll get some handwriting practice and have fun making more decorations for the table.
