Too Cute for His Breeches

I got a new sewing machine as an early Mother's Day gift from Court and I LOVE it! I finally made and applique t-shirt for Christian and I really like the way it turned out. I purchased a plain t-shirt for $3.50 at Wal-Mart and used some scrap fabric that I had. I drew a design on the fusible webbing I purchased at Hobby Lobby, put the fabric on the webbing, cut out the design, ironed it on the t-shirt and stitched around the edges - it was that simple. I wanted the edges to fray a bit so I left them the way they were. Christian called it his "bow tie" shirt because Ella said it was a bow tie. He looked like a total stud when he wore it to church yesterday!
