Happy (late) Valentine's Day!

We did something new this year - we decided to make our own valentines instead of buying pre-made valentines. Ella had to make 17 of them for her preschool class. She put a lot of love and effort into each one and she was very proud to hand them out to her classmates. We used cardstock, cut into 4.25 x 5.5 cards. I cut up some vintage Valentine print gift bags that she glued onto the cards. Ella also glued on her Strawberry Shortcake valentines left-over from last year along with some left-over foam stickers. She also signed each one with her name.

Unfortunately, the business of life kept us from sending valentines out to relatives so I hope this post will serve as our online Valentine! I had some really cute valentine crafts in mind for Ella to make for all the grandparents but time got away from me. I'll just have to save those ideas for next year. The good news is that Ella has made her thank-you cards for the grandparents so Oma and Mimi can expect one in the mail soon! :o)
