For the Love of Big Stuff

We're so happy that the kids are really starting to bond with Big Stuff. Christian loves him. He's constantly trying to pet him, hug him, and get Big Stuff to chase him. Ella took a little longer to bond with the furry guy, but she's now discovered that she can actually play with him (who knew?). She likes to play tug-of-war with him and loves it when he chases her! The biggest breakthrough is that Ella now requests that Big Stuff sleep with her. I think she feels safer knowing that there's another warm, friendly body in the room with her. I'm happy about the kids' relationship with Biggin' - it's important for me to teach them to love and respect animals. I think it helps develop compassion and empathy in young children. And they like having something smaller than them that they can "take care of".
