Okay, now I feel like the horses' behind. I was speaking to Court about what I just blogged about - Ella's whiny fits. He was telling me about his co-worker's 8 month old grandson who legally blind and hospitalized right now with meningitis and a possible blood disorder. He reminded me that things could really be much worse - that I should be thankful that our kids are healthy and that my biggest issue right now with them is whining.
Ouch. Yep, I'm glad that I have Court to give me a reality check to help me put things in to perspective.
It's during these trials of parenting that I need to count my blessings and ask God for wisdom and guidance.
So, thank you, Jesus, for my healthy, whiny kids :o)
