My sweet friend Allison (that's her on the right in the picture above) will be having her baby girl on Monday. To celebrate baby Brooke's upcoming arrival, Ashley, Allison's sister, and I threw her a baby shower last Saturday at Sugarbaby's Cupcake Boutique. We decided to go with Sugarbaby's decor for our theme - it's very girly and chic - and we put together a Fall menu, per Allison's request. Everything turned out really nice and we all had a great time. And the cupcakes were amazing!

I was in charge of the food. We had pumpkin soup with an apple-cranberry garnish (recipe here), turkey sandwiches with cranberry sauce and cream cheese, spinach-walnut salad with balsamic vinaigrette and honey crisp apples with cinnamon caramel dip.
Ashley and her mom took care of the decorations & favors - they did a really great job. Like their favors? They have their own business and they offer a variety of custom party/wedding favors. You can learn more about how to buy their custom favors here.
