This is one of my first attempts at sewing something completely by myself, without mom standing by to help me. Mom helped me sew the pumpkin and I did the pillow Sunday morning while the kids were at mom's house. It looks pretty good from a distance, although a closer glance will reveal my novice hand-stitching skills. I think I did a pretty good job getting the ric-rac in place (I was worried about that).
I'm definitely getting into Fall mode so I've been decorating the house - I'm sure I'll never be done since I keep thinking of more things to do! Here's what I've got going on atop my armoire in the foyer.
